我が家にやって来た AQUOSの37型。実際使ってみた感想を。
まず大きさです。37型でも十分にデカイんですが慣れるともう少しデカくてもよかったかな、と思えます。もちろんこれ以上デカイのは買えませんが。（笑）
次に画質。当たり前ですが電器屋のTVコーナーから家に舞台が移ると比較対象がありません。つまり単独評価なので間違いなくキレイに見えます。（笑）
次に地上波デジタルとBSデジタル。BSデジタル分チャンネル数も増えたし、画質もスゴくキレイです。それ以上に電子番組表でチャンネルを選ぶというスタイルが使いやすい。デジタル放送はチャンネル切替えまでに時間がかかるんですよ。MPEG系は全部の絵が揃うのに時間もかかりますし（それ以上に他の要因がありそうだけど）、そういう意味でもザッピングよりは番組表で選んで一発選局の方が効率的です。
また、うちの場合一番うれしいのは字幕デコーダが地上波デジタル受信テレビのデフォルト機能になっていることですね。しかも字幕がキレイで読みやすい。
最後に2系統のチューナー内蔵。この機能の有無でBRAVIAは破れました。うちの場合はスカパーを110度に切り替えたのでテレビにしかチューナーがありません。だからF-1なんかを録画しながら別の番組が見たい場合には特に役立ちます。片方をレコーダに出力して、片方を視聴する、というスタイル。レコーダへの出力チャンネルを固定することも出来るので録り逃しもありません。
また現状はデジタル放送過渡期であり、テレビの値段はこなれて来たけど、ハイビジョンレコーダ購入にはまだまだ時期早尚ですよね。ブルーレイなんかの次期DVDも普及立ち上がり遅いし。そんな時代の製品として下にアマゾンリンクを張っておきましたが、アイオーデータのRecPOT-Rなるモノがあります。これはハイビジョン映像を録画出来るというもの。ただし割切ってまして、チューナーがありません。TVとiLINK接続して使います。今これがめちゃくちゃ欲しいのですが、これもTVがダブルチューナーであればこそ輝きます。
と、次から次に欲しい物が出て来てしまうのがデカイTV最大の欠点です。（笑）
